time2u has introduced features to significantly reduce payroll processing times -

  • Auto penalty rate calculations: time2u has taken the guess work out of penalty rates calculations, with its sophisticated rules engine. This significantly minimises timesheet mistakes
  • Create multiple Roles: time2u understands that companies employ people in a variety of jobs and that may have different penalty rate calculations. Payroll are given the flexibility to create new Roles and rules.
  • Add allowances and classifications: Travel allowances, special incentives and merits can all be set up and added to an individual. time2u has also taken this a step further, with the ability to add allowances to specific Projects.

time2u’s Payroll section provides tools to make Payroll straightforward:

 

  • Multiple reports – Need to separate contractor payments from employees payroll? With time2u you can create separate reports
  • Snapshots – each report includes flexibility to amend and update payroll data all online, before extracting
  • Schedule one day or across a period, with the option to exclude day(s)
  • Hours & allowances – Snapshots include all hours, overtime and allowances all in one report. Easy.

Exporting payroll & third party integrations

Within a few clicks, working hours, leave and allowances are reviewed all online and a payroll report is created.
time2u provides third party integration with -

 

  • Xero: Seamless integration through an API means no rekeying and a reduction in payroll processing
  • MYOB: CSV file available for Timesheets and Activity Slips imports
  • ADP: time2u has created an ADP specific file creation for ADP Payline
  • Additional integrations coming soon!

Head office reports

time2u offers several complimentary reports, including

 

  • Injury audit report – all teams are required to complete a WHS injury question in timesheets. Where an injury occurs, data is added to the injury report and Managers are notified to take action
  • GPS location variance report – any timesheets where Clock On and/or Clock Off location is outside the job’s radius, will be logged
  • Clock On variance report – where team members Clock On or Clock Off not at the scheduled time, discrepancies will be added to the report.

Timesheets flexibility

time2u can work as a standalone product - creating jobs, adding sections and cost centres, with limited reporting.

Alternatively, you may link Simpro to sync Simpro jobs to time2u.

Another option is to use a hybrid model – in addition to Simpro jobs, you might have other roles, such as a warehouse supervisor, where you just need to log timesheet hours without the complexity of job tracking. You can do all this in time2u, and view these employees in one handy team calendar.

Salary Timesheets

Payroll complexity can also arise where information is pulled from a variety of sources. One such instance is Salary employees – keeping track of working days and leave is usually a manual, paper-based process.

 

time2u offers Salary Timesheets – a simple Calendar interface to log days in the payroll period. The beauty is that all employees, both salary and wages, can be added to one overall time2u Snapshot report, reducing payroll processing.
